TESOL certified with nearly two decades of diverse ESL/EFL experience in the U.S. and internationally, I live and breath tutoring. Growing up in Brazil taught me to understand diversity of culture and language. I stayed in Chile and other nations in South America as well. I've tutored ELLs of various age, background, and nationality. Chinese, Koreans, Saudi Arabians, and others have been tutored by me. I have worked with small kids, teenagers, and grown people. Business owners, college students, and immigrants have studied with me. I have learned a lot about teaching while interacting with this diverse group over the years. I have developed into a sensitive tutor to accommodate each student's particular need. I am always supportive of students, and have developed lessons and strategies to help improve their lives. My students can focus and I motivate them to learn new things. My passion for tutoring is as intense as it is for learning. I enjoy helping students overcome obstacles to succeed. I also love taking care of my family and being outdoors as much as I can. I love to run as well. Healthy activity is very important to me. I hope to continue in my career of tutoring and education for as long as I can.
